About

O.A.S.I.S. Fund — Opening Access through Support, Investment & Services

We’re a community-powered nonprofit that removes practical and financial barriers to mental-health care. When a copay, a missed ride, or a mobility aid stands between someone and stability, we step in—quickly, respectfully, and transparently.

Our Mission

To open access to mental-health support and whole-person resources by pooling community generosity into direct assistance, resource navigation, and partnerships that strengthen wellbeing.

What We Do

  • Therapy Access Assistance: Need-based support for copays, deductibles, or short-term sessions when cost is the barrier.
  • Community Care Micro-Grants: Small, fast grants for essentials that make care possible—transportation, childcare during sessions, mobility aids, and more.
  • Resource Navigation: Warm handoffs and guided referrals to local services (housing, food, transportation, legal aid, etc.).
  • Education & Connection: Workshops and community events that reduce stigma and build supportive networks.

Who We Serve

Individuals and families in our community who are ready to engage in care but face obstacles—financial, logistical, or both. Our application is simple and dignity-forward, with expedited review for urgent needs.

How We Work

O.A.S.I.S. Fund operates as an independent nonprofit with separate finances, policies, and arm’s-length agreements from any for-profit entities. We align with Oklahoma law, professional ethics, and nonprofit best practices, and we publish clear impact and financial summaries each year.

Transparency & Impact

Your gifts stay local. The largest share funds direct aid; a portion supports navigation and outreach. We maintain separate accounts, documented eligibility processes, conflict-of-interest safeguards, and clear donor receipts. We report on households served, barriers removed, time-to-aid, and stories of progress (shared with permission).

Leadership & Governance

  • President Jamie Weiland;
  • Vice President Noah Weiland;
  • Secretary Mark Farah;
  • Treasurer Raymon Sanders;
  • Member-at-Large John Sassin.
  • Fiscal Year: January–December.
  • Bylaws: The Board governs and may amend bylaws. When community memberships open, members will be able to propose amendments for Board consideration through a formal process.

Memberships (Now & Next)

We’re launching with a Board-only voting structure for efficiency. As we grow, we’ll introduce Community Memberships with impact updates, event access, volunteer priority, town-hall forums, and—when activated—voting rights

Our Story & Symbol

Our visual mark—a doorway set within a resilient tree and a path of stepping stones—captures what we believe: with the right support at the right time, people can move from chaos toward connection, health, and hope. The Blue Jay is symbolic of the late Rebecca Jarrett (1953-2022) who was a beacon of hope, compassion, and support to anyone who was lost in the dark.

Jamie Weiland

President

Jamie Weiland is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, Licensed Professional Counselor and the founding President of the O.A.S.I.S. Fund. As the owner of Counseling in Green Country, Jamie sees daily how small barriers—like a copay, a ride, or a mobility aid—can derail care. O.A.S.I.S. grew from that frontline experience: a practical, dignity-first way to open access to mental-health support and essential resources. Jamie leads with calm compassion and clear accountability, championing ethical partnerships, transparent stewardship, and solutions that help neighbors move from crisis to stability—and from stability to growth.

Noah Weiland

Vice President

Noah Weiland brings a steady, heart-forward presence to the O.A.S.I.S. Fund. As Jamie Weiland’s brother-in-law, he’s seen up close how a little support at the right moment can change a life—and he’s made philanthropy and helping others a personal priority. Noah pairs warmth and reliability with a roll-up-your-sleeves approach to service, championing community partnerships, thoughtful stewardship, and practical solutions that make care more accessible for everyone.

Mark Farah

A colleague of Jamie’s since 2014, Mark Farah anchors O.A.S.I.S. with clarity, care, and follow-through. Guided by a deep spiritual presence, he blends logical, forward-thinking problem-solving with genuine compassion. Mark has personal experience with the foster system and adoption, and today he and his wife are raising their daughter. As Secretary, he keeps our governance thoughtful and transparent, turning big-picture vision into clear agendas, honest minutes, and steady accountability.

Raymon Sanders

Treasurer

A colleague of Jamie’s since 2017, Raymon Sanders brings steady financial stewardship and deep field insight to O.A.S.I.S. With extensive experience in mental and behavioral health—and as the owner of a supervised visitation company based in Tulsa—he understands the real-world barriers families face. Raymon is logical, grounded, and no-nonsense when it comes to accountability, while remaining genuinely compassionate and supportive. As Treasurer, he keeps our resources aligned with our mission and our books clear, accurate, and transparent.

Community Fundraising, Grants, Donations, & In-Kind Gifts

O.A.S.I.S. Fund is powered by community fundraising, competitive grants, individual and business donations, and in-kind gifts (useful goods and pro-bono services). We welcome designated gifts that target a population or need aligned with our mission , and we decline any funding that imposes discriminatory restrictions or conditions that interfere with client choice, dignity, or clinical ethics. When public programs—such as certain Oklahoma Medicaid rules—conflict with these principles, we pursue donor-supported alternatives to keep access open while remaining compliant with law and professional standards. All funds are stewarded transparently with clear reporting, separate finances, and strong conflict-of-interest safeguards.
