What kinds of help does OASIS provide?
Need-based support that removes barriers to mental-health care—e.g., therapy copays/deductibles, a short bridge of sessions, transportation (bus passes/ride vouchers), mobility aids, childcare during sessions, and guided referrals to community resources.
Who can apply?
Individuals and families living in Oklahoma who are engaged in (or ready to begin) counseling and face financial or practical barriers to care.
How do I apply?
Complete the short Get Help form. If urgent, mark the “urgent” box and we’ll triage quickly. A Navigator will contact you to confirm details and next steps.
What documents will I need?
Basic contact info, a brief description of the barrier, and (when relevant) a simple proof of cost (e.g., invoice or estimate). We keep paperwork light and dignity-respecting.
How fast is the decision?
Typical review is 5–10 business days; urgent needs are prioritized as capacity allows.
Is there a dollar limit?
Awards are small and strategic. We aim to remove a specific barrier rather than provide long-term funding.
Will support be paid to me or to a provider?
Usually to a third party (clinic, transit provider, vendor) to speed things up and ensure proper tracking.
Do I have to be a client of a specific clinic?
No. OASIS operates independently and works with many providers.
Is my information confidential?
Yes. We collect only what we need, store it securely, and share it only to administer your assistance (e.g., paying a vendor) or as required by law. Please avoid including detailed health information in the form; your Navigator will guide you.
What if I’m uninsured, on Medicaid, or undocumented?
You may still qualify. We review each request on its merits and will connect you with resources that fit your situation.
What if I’m in crisis right now?
Call/text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or dial 911 if you’re in immediate danger. OASIS is not an emergency service.

Most dollars go to direct aid; a portion sustains Navigation/Outreach and responsible administration. We publish clear annual summaries.
Can I make a monthly gift or an annual membership?
